Your Version of Dracula Sucks
Lithub has an article by Hans Corneel de Roos detailing how he discovered an alternate text of Dracula. Apparently, demented Irish scribbler Bram Stoker wrote a uncensored version of his classic for the Icelandic translation.
Interestingly, this version features changes that found their way into later interpretations of the story anyway. More sex, more society, and even the previously thought to be non-canon red cape make an appearance.
Anyway, this book makes a great gift for a friend, and by gift I mean cover for bringing up embarrassing stories about that friends Goth phase.
